MUZAFFARGARH, Aug 12 (APP):A robber committed suicide after the locals surrounded him at thermal road, the crime scene.
Police said the unidentified robber looted a citizen on the road today’s morning.
He shot at and injured the victim when the latter tried to resist the robbery.
The echo of bullet fire alarmed local people and they started converging to the crime scene.
Following the chase, the bandit attempted to flee the spot. People continued chasing the robber and at one point they sourrounded the robber. When the robber found no other means to move out the people’s circle, he shot to kill himself in a fit of anxiety.
Police was informed by one of the man among the mob. It reached on the spot and shifted the injured bandit to DHQ hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
