Work on world-class facilities for tourists in Murree underway: Sohaib Bherarth

RAWALPINDI, Aug 09 (APP): Provincial Minister of Communication and Works, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bherarth on Friday said that work was in progress to provide world-class facilities to the tourists in Murree.

He said that the construction and repair of fourteen highways of Murree including Hall Road, View Forth Road, Bank Road, Jhika Gully and Lower Topa Road has been completed. Moreover, model washrooms are being established for the convenience of tourists, he said.

The minister remarked on these views during a review briefing regarding ongoing projects under the government’s grand Murree Development Plan. Provincial Transport Minister, Bilal Akbar Khan was also with him.

Malik Sohaib said that parking problems would be solved with the modern parking system in Murree.

“Chief Minister Punjab is paying special attention to the Murree Development Plan”, he said and added that special focus is being given to the quality of the infrastructure materials to be built under the Murree Development Plan. “All the projects will be completed on time”, he said.

Transport Minister, Bilal Ahmad Khan said that the transport system was being improved to maintain a continuous flow of traffic in Murree.

It is worth mentioning here that the visit was conducted on instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier, DC Murree, Agha Zaheer Shirazi briefed the provincial ministers on various projects of Murree development.
