E-centers to provide one-stop solution for land records, says SMBR

LAHORE, Aug 08 (APP):Senior Member of the Board of Revenue (SMBR) Punjab Nabeel Javed on Thursday said that state-of-the-art E-Arzi Centers being established across Punjab, will provide a one-stop solution for obtaining land records (Fard), stamp papers, and the payment of all relevant government fees.
During his visit  to review various developmental projects in city and Raiwind areas, he said that bank branches will also be available at these centers to facilitate transactions.
Nabeel Javed said that the model E-Arzi Center will offer comprehensive services related to revenue matters with the first center in Raiwind becoming operational by September 15.
Later, Nabeel Javed accompanied by the Director General of the Walled City of Lahore Authority and other senior officials visited the Mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Badshahi Mosque. He remarked that Badshahi Mosque and the Mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal are national heritage sites and their renovation is being carried out up to the international standards.
A modern drainage system is being installed around Badshahi Mosque and Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s Mausoleum to protect the buildings from rainwater damage. Additionally, the canteen within the mosque’s premises will be relocated outside the mosque area. Nabeel Javed also instructed the use of high-quality stone to restore the original structure of Badshahi Mosque, ensuring its beauty is preserved. Furthermore, he directed the DG of the Walled City to initiate audio and video recitations at the Mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal as soon as possible.
