One drown in nullah Leh
RAWALPINDI, Aug 08 (APP):Another boy drowned in a deep water drain on Thursday, totaling three in two consecutive days. The young boy was sitting on the bank of drain when water swept him away into nullah Leh in City Saddar Road area. Search operation by Rescue 1122 has been initiated.
According to the details shared by the District Emergency Service, the boy, whose name is still unknown fell into the drain. Rescue teams were immediately rushed to the spot and started a search operation.
Yesterday two children were drowned in two separate incidents.
Spokesman of Rescue 1122, Muhammad Usman informed APP that the body of one child named Ali Niaz was recovered on Thursday as the operation was still underway to search the body of the second child named Malaika.
Rescue 1122 is already on high alert during recent rains.
