Minister establishes relief camp for rain affectees at his residence

MIRPURKHAS , Aug 07 (APP):Provincial Minister for Culture and  Focal Person for Rain Emergency, Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah on Wednesday announced the establishment of a relief camp at his residence for rain affected persons.
He announced this in a video link meeting held with Commissioner, Faisal Ahmed Uqaili.
The Public Relation Officer (PRO) said that the minister instructed the concerned departments and district administrations  to improve the work of strengthening the backs and the drains in the areas where heavy rains were forcast by the meteorological department .
The minister directed to adopt all effective strategies and make necessary arrangements to drain out rainwater on urgent basis, adding no, negligence would be tolerated in that regard.
The Commissioner strictly directed the officers of all concerned departments to complete all necessary arrangements for immediate drainage of rainwater from Taluka  Sindhri Umerkot and nearby districts.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas Dr. Rasheed  Masood Khan, Deputy Commissioner Umerkot, Naveedur Rehman Larik, Deputy Commissioner, Sanghar, Assistant Commissioner Khipro Nabi Bakhsh Solangi, Director Nara Canal, Naeem Memon and other concerned officials.
