FAISALABAD, Aug 07 (APP):The police have arrested 3,012 illicit weapon holders from Faisalabad during 2024.
A spokesman said here on Wednesday that the police launched a vigorous campaign against illegal weapon holders and arrested 3,012 accused from January 1, 2024 to date.
The police also recovered 2,598 pistols, 98 Kalashnikovs, 158 rifles, 145 guns, 83 repeaters, 17 revolvers, 14 carbines, 8 daggers and 13295 bullets/cartridges while the accused were locked behind bars after registration separate cases for further investigation, he added.
