Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir rally held in Murree

RAWALPINDI, Aug 05 (APP):In connection with Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, a rally was organized on Monday from GPO Chowk to Chinar Chowk by Punjab Arts Council Murree, against the Indian atrocities and injustices in IIOK. A large number of people from different walks of life participated in the protest walk.
The speakers at the rally said that August 5, 2019 was a dark day when the dark face of India was exposed to the world. They said that 5 August would always be remembered as a black day in history.
Participants of the rally were holding placards with slogans against indian atrocities written on them. A large number of students were also raising slogans to express their solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
Later, in the auditorium of Punjab Arts Council, Murree, the students of the school presented a tableau in solidarity with Kashmiri people.Deputy Director Murree Arts Council Anam Khalid, Assistant Director Ahmed Raza, Assistant Director Muhammad Ashraf Mekan and well-known columnist Aslam Khokhar and teachers of the school were also present on the occasion.
Anum Khalid in her address to the participants at the show, said that the whole nation expressed their solidarity with people of Kashmir on Youm-e-Istehsal. She said that India has been continuously denying the Kashmiris’ recognized right of self-determination.
“Presently occupied Kashmir has turned into the biggest prison in the world, and the true face of India, the so-called biggest democracy in the world, has been exposed”, she said.
