MUZAFFARGARH, Aug 05 (APP):Armed robbers looted a shopkeeper and escaped after locking up the victim in the shop in the jurisdiction of Chowk Sarwar Shaheed police station last night.
According to a police spokesman, Yaqoob Guraya was about to close his shop located at Chak number 631/TDA when a couple of unidentified criminals riding a motorcycle Honda 125 reached out to him yesterday night.
They looted Rs 15000 before leaving. One of the robbers snatched a cell phone from the man and locked him up in the shop.
The shopkeeper started beating the door loudly, and then people rushed to break the lock to take him out of his shop.
According to the spokesman, the police of the relevant jurisdiction reached the site and collected the evidence to initiate the inquiry.
