Police martyrs day observed across South Punjab

MULTAN, Aug 04 (APP):Police observed “Police martyrs day” to pay tribute to the officials embraced martyrdom by sacrificing their lives for cause of protecting homeland across South Punjab on Sunday.
Different ceremonies were organized at all police headquarters of the South Punjab in which senior police officers and others were participated to pay rich tribute to the martyrs of the department.
In this regard, a ceremony was organized at Multan police line in which Additional Inspector General of Police South Punjab Muhammad Kamran, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Capt (retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Wasim Hamid Sandhu and other senior officers were participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional IGP South Punjab Muhammad Kamran said that police martyrs were the real hero of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting homeland. He said that the every official of the police department was ready render any sacrifice for the cause. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs and their families.
He said that all possible efforts were being taken for welfare of the family of police martyrs.
RPO Capt (retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar and others also paid tribute to the martyrs and pledged to continue service for protection of public lives and properties.
Meanwhile, the ceremonies organized at Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan and other districts of the region.
