KARACHI, Aug 04 (APP):A special documentary and video was released by the Security Division on the Police Martyrs’ Day here Sunday, wherein tribute was paid to the police personnel and police martyrs. While the interviews of the families of the martyred officials have also been mirrored.
The purpose of releasing the special video was to highlight the importance of the sacrifices of the police personnel in the public that how the police are protecting the lives and property of the citizens by sacrificing their lives.
According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of the DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, the documentary showed the families of the martyred policemen expressing their love for the country and their feelings that they will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the safety of their country and the nation.
On this occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed gave a message that peace and tranquility in the province and the city depended on the blood of the martyrs and those who sacrificed their lives in the path of duty were our heroes.
While giving a message to the families of the martyrs, he said that the families of the martyrs should not feel alone at any moment. The entire department is standing by their side and the police officers are taking all possible measures for their welfare, he said.
