QUETTA, Jul 29 (APP): Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandukhail on Monday said the close friendship and cordial relations between Pakistan and Indonesia would also yield positive results for the sustainable peace of the entire area.
Discussing the meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador Rehmat Hiniarta Kasuma posted in Pakistan, the governor said that deep cordial relations have been established between Pakistan and Indonesia. He said that it was necessary to expand the relations between the two countries to other fields according to the changing conditions and modern requirements.
He said that inviting people associated with the industry and trade of Pakistan and Balochistan to the International Business Expo in Indonesia in October would have more positive effects on the bilateral economic and trade relations of the two countries.
The governor said that Pakistan was keen to deepen cooperation in other public relations including the education sector.
Indonesia is expected to give special priority to Balochistan students in providing scholarships, he said.
Governor Balochistan said that Balochistan was a province rich in natural resources and minerals and due to its fresh and dry fruits, Balochistan was also called Fruit Basket.
He said that there were profitable investment opportunities in minerals, agriculture, livestock and fruit industry. Indonesian investors must make full use of these available opportunities, he said.
“It was necessary to establish an industry here at the local level for Pine nuts (Chalghoza), olives, apples and other fruits in which we value the interest of Indonesian investors”, he maintained.
All over the world, Pakistan is a leading name in terms of quantity and quality of Pine nuts , Zhob can be made an important center for further processing, he said.
