CHISTIAN , Jul 29 (APP):A woman on Monday was killed while her grandson received injuries due to an explosion in fireworks material in Chak No 46.
The police spokesperson said that a 50-year-old woman named Shamim Bibi was killed, and her grandson Asad, who is two years old, was injured in an explosion at their home.
The woman’s husband was into a fireworks business, he added.
He said the body and the injured had been shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ).
The police registered a case and started an investigation.
