KHANEWAL, Jul 29 (APP):Punjab government released funds to tune of Rs two billions for 34 ongoing development schemes in the district.
This was disclosed in a meeting of district development committee, chaired by deputy commissioner Muhammad Ali Bukhari here on Monday.
The development committee also gave approval of another eight schemes including five road schemes, two sports and one judiciary scheme.
Deputy Director Development Shahid Rehman briefed the participants about the pace of work on different schemes. The meeting was also attended by officials from Building, Highways, and Public Health Engineering Departments.
