LAHORE, Jul 26 (APP):Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar on Friday rewarded a PHP police team for excellent performance.
He invited the PHP team deputed at Khanpur Post in Sheikhupura to the Central Police Office and commended them for bravely fighting dangerous dacoits. He awarded commendation certificates and cash rewards to ASI Zaheer Ahmed, Constable Sajid Ali, Zeeshan Ahmed, and Sarfraz. The team successfully apprehended and brought to justice dangerous criminal Nadeem alias Demo, who was wanted in multiple henious cases.
The IG Punjab while instructing the PHP teams to perform their duties more diligently, said that all teams should remain on high alert to protect the lives and properties of citizens. He directed to focus on helping and guiding passengers along with law enforcement along the eradication of crimes. Additional IGP PHP Abdul Kareem and DIG PHP Dr Muhammad Athar Waheed and other officers were also present.
