MULTAN, Jul 24 (APP):Police have apprehended five bootleggers and recovered imported wine from their possession during a special crackdown launched across the district here on Wednesday.
In line with social directives of the City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, the police launched a crackdown against drug dealers. The police teams arrested five bootleggers respectively by Dehli Gate and Lohari Gate police stations.
The police have also recovered 1252 bottles of imported wine which was being delivered in different areas of the city.
Separate cases have been registered against the criminals, however, the CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar has directed officers concerned to continue crackdown on daily basis, police sources added.
