QUETTA, Jul 24 (APP):On special directive of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lt, (R) Saad bin Asad organized an open court at Quetta Metropolitan on Wednesday to address legal issues for provision of facilities to people.
Commissioner Quetta Division Hamza Shafqat, MNA Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani and SSP Operation Muhammad Baloch were present on the occasion.
The officers of the district administration, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Assistant Commissioners, Tehsildars, Sub-Registrar, Joint Sub-Registrar, Patwariyan, officers of various branches of DC office were present.
Additionally, officers from all Law and Departments, QESCO, Metropolitan, Gas, District Education Officer, Male and Female Police Department, Traffic, District Health Officer, Irrigation, WASA, PHE, C&W, Agriculture Department attended the Open Court.
On the occasion of open court, a large number of people belonging to different areas of Quetta city presented their problems. On which immediate orders were issued on the requests of complainers.
People presented the problems related to non-supply of water, gas, electricity, sanitation in Quetta city, illegal encroachments, various schools and hospitals besides issues regarding revenue and local/domicile problems.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Quetta talking to the media said that the district administration was working day and night to solve the problems of Quetta and was taking steps on priority basis.
He said that the purpose of holding the open court was to solve public problems by highlighting them, and such open courts would also be held every month.
The public welcomed the open court held by the Chief Minister and the district administration and termed it a good initiative.
The people expressed their satisfaction and thanked the Deputy Commissioner Quetta.
