RAWALPINDI, Jul 23 (APP):Police have arrested suspect for stabbing man to death a few days ago in the jurisdiction of Dhamyal police station here Tuesday.
According to a police spokesman, Shafaat Hussain, along with his father and uncle, attacked Nadeem-ul-Hasan and mother, leaving them both seriously injured. Sadly, Nadeem-ul-Hasan died from his injuries during treatment.
The incident, reported a few days ago, stemmed from Shafaat’s suspicion that Nadeem-ul-Hasan had an illicit relationship this led to the violent attack.
SP Saddar Muhammad Nabil Khokhar confirmed the arrest and stated that efforts are underway to apprehend other culprits.
He assured that accused would be brought to court with solid evidence to ensure justice.
Khokhar emphasized that those who take the lives and properties of citizens will not escape from law.
