ATTOCK, Jul 23 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday seized 23,000 liters of fake carbonated and fizzy drinks being supplied to the markets during a successful raid near Village, Haji Shah.
The PFA spokesperson said the authority’s enforcement team along with police raided two warehouses where thousands of bottles of fake carbonated and fizzy drinks were stored for onward supply to the markets and shopkeepers.
The spokesman said that the fake carbonated drinks were prepared with loose colors, hazardous chemicals and polluted water on the pretext of famous international brands.
