LAHORE, Jul 23 (APP):Lahore Divisional Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood visited an under construction modern e-registration center at Shalamar here on Tuesday.
He was briefed by the Director General of Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) Ikram ul Haq on the construction and facilities of the new e-registration center.
During the briefing, it was highlighted that the prefabricated structure, roof, sewerage system, and flooring of the center have been completed. Commissioner Zaid bin Maqsood remarked that the introduction of modern e-registration facilities will save time and expenses for citizens. He emphasized that e-registration centers are the best civic relief program providing revenue services. He mentioned that citizens can benefit from online applications and digital services under one roof at e-registration centers. The commissioner set August as the deadline for the completion of e-registration Center Shalamar. During his visit, the commissioner inspected the entry, parking, and constructed portions of the facility.
PLRA Director General informed that a significant portion of the modern e-registration center, spread over 4 kanals, has been completed and will meet the deadline.
ADC Omar Maqbool, AC Shalamar Dr. Anam Fatima, and other officials were also present.
