ATTOCK, Jul 22 (APP):The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) here on Monday busted a two-member gang of vehicle lifters and recovered three cars from their possession.
Addressing a press conference, Incharge district CIA Cell, DSP Hafeez Ur Rehman said that on July 14, a person named Hamza Khalid reported to Saddar Police that he went to river Indus for picnicking with his friends and parked his car valuing Rs 3 million along with GT Road, which was stolen by unidentified persons.
He told, the CIA team along with SHO Khanzada Sheroze launched investigation and arrested the members of the gang comprising Muhammad Ayub and Qammar Zaman. The police recovered the stolen car. He added that the police also recovered two other vehicles form them.
More recoveries are expected during the investigation, he said.
