KARACHI, Jul 15 (APP):Shipping activity was reported at the port where four ships namely, MSC Positano, APL Mexico City, Eco Alice, and Ondo carrying Containers, LPG and LNG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan Gasport Terminal respectively on Monday, 14th July-2024.
A total of thirteen ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them six ships, Maersk Pelepas, APL Mexico City, Marangas Asclepius, Lila Confidence, Common Venture, and LPG OM left the port on Monday morning and four more ships, Ambrosia, Eco Alice, Atlantic Spirit, and Sara are expected to sail on today afternoon.
A cargo volume of 172,228tonnes, comprising 104,928 tonnes imports cargo and 67,300 tonnes of export cargo, including containerized cargo carried in 4,887 Containers (2,502TEUs Imports and 2,385 TEUs export) was handled at the port during the last 24 hours There are 07 ships are at outer anchorage of port, out of them three ships, Achilleas-S, ABK Tiger and Elandra Corallao &two more ships, MSC Pamela and Ardmore Cheroke scheduled to load/offload Containers, Cement, Peas and Palm oil is expected to take berths at QICT, MW-1, FAP and LCTrespectively on Monday, 15th July-2024, while two more ships, Maersk Sentosa and Atlantic Ibis carrying Containers are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday.
