Governor KP visits Dawoodi Bohra; attends spiritual leader’s council in Karachi

PESHAWAR, Jul 14 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, along with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, on Sunday visited the headquarters of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat at Taheri Masjid Sadar Karachi, where they participated in a council led by spiritual leader Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.

The event was graced by the presence of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, provincial ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Owais Ghani, MQM leader Anis Qaimkhani, and former Karachi Mayor Mustafa Kamal.

Both Governors joined the council of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat’s spiritual leader, where special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. The occasion also saw the spiritual leader presenting special shawls to the Governors from Sindh and KP.

According to a statement issued by the Governor House Sindh, during the council, at the request of Sindh Governor, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin offered special prayers for the advancement and well-being of Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, the Sindh Governor highlighted the significant role of the Dawoodi Bohra community in economic activities, emphasizing their annual invitation to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to visit Pakistan during Muharram-ul-Haram, which he said contributes to economic growth through his prayers benefiting everyone.

Meanwhile, the Governor Faisal Karim Kundi also visited Indus Hospital and Health Network and appreciated Sindh government for providing best facilities to people in health sector.

President of the Institution Dr Abdul Bari briefed him about the hospital.
