MUZAFFARGARH, Jul 13 (APP):About 705 sites were termed sensitive for possible breeding of dengue mosquitoes in wake of recent rainy spell across the district.
This was disclosed in a meeting chaired by deputy commissioner Mian Usman Ali to review arrangements to eliminate dengue mosquitoes, here on Saturday.
The deputy commissioner stated that the recent rainy spell could cause spread of dengue mosquitoes. He directed officials to visit field and submit reports on daily basis.
He also warned of taking strict action against the officials for demonstrating lethargy in discharge of duties. Although, not even a single case was reported in district Muzaffargarh so far, he remarked.
He also directed action against the officials for uploading fake activities during inspection.
