CM meets position holder students, awards trophies, prizes

LAHORE, Jul 10 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif invited position holder students of the Lahore Board to the CM Office, here on Wednesday.
The CM distributed trophies among the position holder students and awarded commendation certificates and prizes among all the students.
The CM awarded cheques worth Rs.300,000 each among the students getting first position, Rs.200,000 each among the students getting second position and Rs.100,000 each among the students getting third position.
The CM also announced to pay the fee of position holders for getting higher education and directed to pay all the education expenses of the students.
The CM communicated with every position holder and inquired from them about their studies timetable. On the inquisition of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the students told her about the support of their teachers, parents and siblings. They also told about their favourite subjects. The position holder students declared Mathematics as their favourite subject. They held a comprehensive discussion with the Chief Minister and expressed their profound pleasure on meeting her.
The chief minister said, “I take pride by sitting among the position holder students and I feel proud to witness academic brilliance of the position holder students. I feel overjoyed as the future of our country is very bright. The parents and teachers feel pleased and take pride over witnessing success of their children and students.”
The position holders of Lahore Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education comprised Muhammad Kashif, Moeez Haider, Ubaid Ullah Usman, Maheen Sajjad, Ubera Asghar, Zainab Asif, Sehar Shakeel, Laiba, Ghulam Humayun Din, Ehteshamul Haq,  Muhammad Farhan, Hifsa, Maira Imran, Hafiza Kainat Amir, Maira Khurram.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, Secretary Higher Education Dr. Farukh Naveed, Dr. Ehtesham Anwar, Secretary Lahore Board Dr. Bushra and other relevant officers were also present.
