Banks to observe Ashura holidays on July 16, 17

KARACHI, Jul 10 (APP):The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on July 16 and 17, 2024 on the occasion of Ashura 1446 A.H.

The central bank, in a statement issued here on Wednesday, informed that SBP will remain closed on July 16 and 17, 2024, (Tuesday and Wednesday) being public holidays on the occasion of Ashura (9th and 10th Moharram 1446 A.H).

All the banks, Micro Finance Banks (MFBs), Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and banking and non-banking financial institutions will also remain close on July 16 and 17 accordingly.
