KOHAT, Jul 10 (APP):Kohat district administration along with Pesco officials conducted an operation against electricity thieves in the Kaghazai area.
According to the district administration the action was taken as part of ongoing anti-electricity theft drive on the directives of the provincial government and the instructions of deputy commissioner Kohat.
During the operation, meetings were held with the people wherein cooperation was stressed against the kunda mafia and urged them to ensure timely payment of electricity bills to overcome the issue of load shedding.
The DC says that operation would be extended to other areas of Kohat district and it would continue without any pressure in order to eradicate electricity theft.
