BUREWALA, Jul 09 (APP):The annual three-day Urs celebrations of renowned saint Hazrat Dewan Chawli Mashaikh also known as Baba Haji Shair Dewan began here Tuesday at Qasba Dewan Sahib in Burewala.
Devotees have started pouring in from across the country to join the Urs celebrations under tight security arrangements put in place by police.
The administration declared July 9 a local holiday in district Vehari due to the Urs. Devotees will continue to pay respect to the saint till July 11, the last day of the Urs.
