Govt committed to ensure conducive environment for private business sector: Minister

ISLAMABAD, Apr 23 (APP): Minister for Industry and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain on Tuesday said the government was committed to ensure conducive environment for the private business sector.

In line with this commitment, the minister met with the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engro Corporation Ahsan Zafar, to introduce the incoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and discuss the company’s future plans, said a statement issued here.

The minister praised the outgoing CEO’s services and expressed good wishes for the new CEO, acknowledging Engro Corporation’s significant role in Pakistan’s economy, said a statement issued here.

He said that restoring investors’ confidence was government’s top priority.
