QUETTA, Oct 26 (APP): Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar on Thursday called for the allocation of special posts at higher levels in every department for persons with disabilities (PWDs) according to their qualifications.
The governor said that the offices in various government buildings related to persons with disabilities should be on the ground floor so that it is easy for them to visit relevant offices for their work.
On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the message of solidarity with disabled persons would be conveyed to the world level, he added.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation led by Zia-ur-Rehman, President of “Quetta Online” at the Governor House, Quetta.
Wali Kakar said that modern science and technology have also benefited disabled people and many of their problems have been solved.
Governor said that on the occasion of the International Day of Disabled Persons, a program will be organized in the provincial capital, Quetta, through which the problems and difficulties faced by the people will be highlighted and the relevant federal and provincial authorities will be contacted.
