National Basketball C’ship final on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP): The final of the Inter-Division National Basketball Championship Grade A would be played here at the Liaquat Gymnasium Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.

In the matches played, Peshawar defeated Faisalabad by 58-41 goals; Gujranwala beat Karachi 64-58 goals in the second match; Rawalpindi downed Hazara by 88-42 goals and in the fourth match, Lahore defeated Islamabad by 78-50 goals.

Teams of eight divisions participating in the event are divided into two groups. Group A: Peshawar, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Karachi. Group B: Lahore, Islamabad, Hazara and Rawalpindi.

The third position would also be played before the final match on October 25.
