SUKKUR, Sep 27 (APP):The International Day of older people will be observed on 1st October in different districts of Sindh.
The basic purpose of this day is to raise awareness about older people and to give respect to them.
In this connection, Older People Associations (OPAs) formed by Fatima Foundation Sukkur, will take rallies in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur and Jaccobabad districts and will urge the Sindh Government to implement the Senior Citizen Welfare Bill passed by the Sindh Assembly as older people will bring positive changes in lives of senior citizens.
CEO, of Fatima Foundation, Jameel Hussain Shakeel Soomro has urged the local notables of the respective districts including lawyers, journalists, teachers and students to join the rallies and support the basic rights of older people.
