Non custom paid cloth’ smuggling foiled

DG Khan, Sep 27 (APP):Sakhi Sarwar Police Station foiled a smuggling attempt of non-custom paid imported cloth, here Wednesday.

According to a police spokesman, the non-custom paid imported cloth was handed over to the customs authority after legal proceedings.

District Police Officer (DPO) Husnain Haider said checking of external and internal routes was intensified to halt smuggling from the attached border.

In connection to the smuggling control, the Charge checkpost of Sakhi Sultan, Muhammad Farhad along with his team sabotaged the move of transporting imported fabrics into the district.

In charge of checkpost speaking with regard to catching the cloth that the smugglers involved in the illegal activity would be dealt with iron hands.
