FAISALABAD, Sep 26 (APP):The inspection teams of Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) caught 1,116 power pilferers during the last three-week crackdown in Faisalabad
division.
The detection bill of Rs 40 million of 3.2 million units have been charged from pilferers. Cases against 1009 pilferers were got registered, out of which, 126 have been got arrested.
Divisional Commissioner Silwat Saeed said that power theft was a national offense and the elements involved in this crime were being taken to task.
