DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 25 (APP):The district police on Monday claimed to have foiled a smuggling attempt and seized non custom-paid (NCP) cloth worth around Rs 25 million here in the limits of Mughalkot Police Station.
According to police spokesman, a police team led by SDPO Darazinda Circle Sher Ullah Khan along with Mughalkot Police station SHO Rehmat Ullah Khan created a blockade and stopped a truck bearing number (TKC-057) coming from Quetta.
During the checking of truck, the police recovered NCP cloth from the truck which were later handed over to the Customs authorities for further legal action.
The estimated worth of the recovered cloth is said to be Rs 25 million.
