SARGODHA, Sep 15 (APP):A team of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) caught red-handed a man for tampering with gas meters, during an ongoing crackdown launched on gas pilferers in the district, here on Friday.
According to official sources, a SNGPL raiding team, under the supervision of regional manager Umar Hayat, raided a house in the city and a case of meter tampering was found.
The team estimated that gas was pilferage worth Rs 1.2 million through gas meter tampering.
The police registered a case against pilferers.
