DIR LOWER, Sep 14 (APP):Following directives issued by the Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Iftikhar Ahmad, all the sugar dealers in the district have been issued guidelines that would strictly be followed to ensure the sufficient availability and sale on prescribed rates of the commodity.
According to a notification issued on Thursday, the sugar dealers have been directed to share the stock of sugar available with them, with the office of District Controller/Special Price Control Magistrate before 09:00 a.m.
The traders were further directed to maintain the record of sale of the sugar on a daily basis and update the record of sugar stored at their godowns.
The traders were made bound to display a signboard on the front of their godowns inscribed with their names and mobile phone numbers and share the addresses of their other godowns with the Food Controller Office.
The stock of the sugar available at their godowns must be shared with the food office in separate WhatsApp groups before 09:00 a.m.
The notification said that after 10:00 a.m. the data of any sugar dealer will not be updated. The traders were further directed to sell the sugar on the prescribed rate and maintain cleanliness in their godowns.
