Nisar directs further probe in matter of petroleum levy

ISLAMABAD, Jan 6 (APP): Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday directed widening of investigation into the matter of petroleum levy.

According to Interior Ministry, the ongoing investigations on the issue of petroleum levy were initiated on the directions of the Interior Minister.

In the last four days, marketing companies have deposited  Rs 440 million of petroleum levy, in the national exchequer.
