RAWALPINDI, Dec 26 (APP): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter Faith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Monday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would again form government after next general elections in 2018 as people would vote the party due to its performance.
Addressing a public meeting here in Abadi Number-2 at Girja Road the Minister said, the PML-N government is making all out efforts to uplift the living standard of the masses.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is a game changer project which would change destiny of the country and would benefit its all areas including Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyder Pukhtuankhawa, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
The Minister said the opposition parties cannot digest the development projects, launched by the government.
Sardar Yousaf said the 2016 Hajj operation was appreciated by all Hujjaj and Muslims from the across world, lauded the performance of the Religious Ministry.
The Haj operation, this year brought a good name for the Government of Pakistan and the country, he said adding, “We are working to replicate the success story of 2016 in the next Haj operation and would try to provide maximum facilities to the Hujjaj.
Sardar Yousaf informed Nizam-e-Salat is successfully being observed in the Federal Capital and the Rawalpindi and other areas of the country with the same spirit.
The Minister said the government is working for Haj and Umra legislation which would facilitate the intending pilgrims. A National Ulema Council has also been formed, he added.
The government with the help of religious scholars and Ulema is trying to devise an Islamic Calendar for all areas of Pakistan which would help guide to celebrate Eids on same day and it would be followed for “Nizam-e-Salat.
