LAHORE, Dec 04 (APP): Federal Minister for Science & Technology and Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain Sunday said that Pakistan had achieved several goals in various sectors during the incumbent government tenure.
Talking to APP here, he said that hope and self-confidence were the keys to success in life, and there was need for inculcating these qualities in the youth for a bright future of the country.
He said that it was a good omen that a democratic process was in progress in the country which would bring about prosperity in the long run, and the smooth change of command was a good sign for the nation.
Rana said that Pakistan had great potential for success in all sectors, but the nation had to work hard for progress. He said that national reserves had reached Rs 27 billion mark from only Rs 8-9 billion in 2013, when the PML-N took over the charge.
He urged all the opponents to respect the power of vote and right of the nation, which voted the PML-N to power. He said there were lots of positive things about the country.
He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would help improve infrastructure in the country and add to its finances.
On Kashmir, he said that India would not be able to hold the present position in Kashmir as people could not be deprived of their rights for long through pressure and negative tactics. He said that Pakistani forces were ready to tackle any situation on the border.
