Shehbaz orders massive crackdown on anti social elements

LAHORE, Nov 27 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz
Sharif on Sunday chaired a meeting to review in detail the steps
being taken for protection of life and property of the people of the province.
During the meeting, the CM ordered large scale crackdown on anti social elements, criminal persons and proclaimed offenders, He said that indiscriminate action should be taken against them and all out steps were taken for safeguarding life and property of masses.
He said that police would have to perform their duties in an active and vibrant manner for ensuring law and order situation. He said that police would have to come up to expectations of the people and it is only possible when police force will perform its duties of protection of life and property of the people efficiently.
The CM said that he would personally review the steps being taken for protection of life and property of people regularly.
The police officials informed the CM about progress on crime incidents occurring in Lahore, especially Milliat Park dacoity cum murder case and looting of a vehicle at traffic signal in Garden Town.
The CCPO assured the chief minister that the accused would be arrested soon.
Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah, MPA Jehangir Khanzada,
Special Assistant Rana Maqbool Ahmed, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Secretary Home and senior police authorities attended the meeting.
