PM, NA Speaker discuss reforms for effective legislation

ISLAMABAD, July 7 (APP): Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed judicial reforms and measures to make the electoral process transparent. The meeting also discussed legislation, the recently passed budget, the budget debate and more time to the opposition for participating in the debate.

The Speaker National Assembly appreciated Prime Minister’s policy on Afghanistan, in which he clearly advocated for peace, development and prosperity in the neighbouring country.

They also discussed the in-camera session on the National Security, held recently.

During the meeting, matters relating to reforms for effective legislation were discussed.
