Inbound int’l flights bring back Pakistanis stranded in Gulf countries: Ashrafi

ISLAMABAD, Jul 03 (APP): Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi Saturday said the number of inbound international PIA flights had been increased for bringing back overseas Pakistanis struck in Qatar, Bahrain, Doha and the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

In a statement, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed immediate action for repatriation of Pakistanis stranded in Gulf countries as priority of incumbent government was to resolve the issues of overseas Pakistanis on priority basis.

He said PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) would repatriate 3,394 passengers from UAE, 2,016 from Doha and 722 from Bahrain.
