ISLAMABAD, Oct 6 (APP): The Spokesman of Pakistan
International Airlines (PIA) Thursday stated that right sizing is
desperately needed in the airlines.
“Reference media queries it may be noted that right sizing is
desperately needed in PIA,” he stated in a press release issued here.
“The airline is reviewing the number of people required for
its current fleet and operations, however the exact number of employees who are surplus has not yet been calculated.
PIA management is aiming at appointing most suitable people at every position. For this purpose new recruitment would also be done soon particularly for pilots, flight attendants and cabin crew.”
