SIALKOT, July 27 (APP): India has released flood water in both big nullahs Aik and Dek, causing high flood in these nullahs near Sialkot and Pasrur.

A spokesperson of Sialkot district administration confirmed this and said that nullah Aik tonight overflowed near Oura-Sialkot, inundating as many as nine villages here. The flow of water was 31080 cusecs in nullah Dek near Oura-Sialkot in the evening.

DCO Dr. Asif Tufail and Provincial Secretary Irrigation Punjab Capt. (Retd) Saif Anjum visited the flood-hit areas here.

The DCO said the flood situation was under control.

The flow of flood water was 35102 cusecs in nullah Dek near Dariya Nangal-Chahoor, in Pasrur tehsil.
