ISLAMABAD, Dec 24 (APP):The Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) has organized a ceremony on Wednesday in National Library Auditorium to confer awards among its journalist and non journalist staff to acknowledge their outstanding performance in their respective fields.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan would be the chief guest. It is for first time in history that the services of journalists and non journalist staff were being acknowledged.
The awards would be conferred in various categories to the staffers working in APP headquarters, bureaus and stations.
Prominent journalists working in various newspapers, news agencies have been invited to attend the prestigious ceremony.
