LAHORE, Oct 10 (APP):Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Thursday said there was nothing to worry about an isolated protestor like Maulana Fazlur Rehman who had been deserted by opposition parties on long-march call.

Talking to media on the sidelines of the 10th Convocation of King Edward Medical University here, he said opposition parties were not willing to support Fazlur Rehman’s anti-government protest as it was time to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

To a question, he said Maulana Fazlur Rehman wanted to distract international attention off Kashmir issue through his protest when the government had internationalized the issue through its spirited diplomacy, adding people could easily understand whose interest Fazlur Rehman was watching through the ill-timed protest.

He said even the worst critics of the government had rejected Fazlur Rehman’s agenda.
