NA body receives briefing on dengue situation

ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (APP):National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Thursday received briefing on dengue situation in the country and its prevention and treatment aspects.

The committee meeting which was chaired by MNA Khalid Magsi received detailed presentation on dengue situation from the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza.
The committee was informed that all necessary steps were being taken to avoid proliferation of dengue virus in the federal capital.

It was informed that the ministry had started fumigation drive in affected sectors of federal capital to protect citizens.
