Opposition protest for production order of its leaders

ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (APP):Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday said that the joint session of Parliament was called to express solidarity with Kashmiri people, but opposition on the other hand raised slogans for production orders of their leaders.

Talking to a private news channel, she said that the speaker National Assembly could issue production orders of the arrested persons.

The speaker had issued production orders of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders in the past when they demanded, she added.

The special assistant said that opposition parties should have gone to speaker for production orders of their leaders.
