New rehabilitation centers to transform drug addicts into useful citizens: Afridi

ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (APP):Minister for Narcotics Control and SAFRON Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday vowed to set up new rehabilitation centers for drug addicts to help transforming the addicts into productive, useful and healthy citizens.

During a surprise visit at Modern Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (MATRC) Islamabad, he met with over 36 addicts being rehabilitated at the MATRC run by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Regional Directorate, said a press release.

The minister had a detailed session with the drug addicts being treated and inquired about the facilities being provided to the addicts.
