Political unrest must not affect economic stability: Dar

ISLAMABAD, May 21 (APP): Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday called for ensuring that the economic gains were not affected due to any political unrest in the country.

“During last three years, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government has been able to stabilize the dwindling economic conditions as has been endorsed by 22 major international rating agencies,” Dar said while addressing a pre-budget seminar organized by Duniya Media Group here.

The Finance Minister asked the opposition to sit with the government and evolve a ‘charter of economy’ for a more robust economic growth.
